Ask your AI

Your meetings, inside your AI assistant.

Connect your assistant to your recordings with the free Tonal Recall CLI — one command for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Claude Desktop. Then just ask "what did we decide about pricing?" and it answers from what was actually said, no copy-paste.

  • One command connects Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Claude Desktop
  • "Summarize my last meeting" — it just works
  • Search runs on your Mac; the assistant only sees what it asks for

  • Pick a date and a time range — up to 2 hours
  • Name it now; the finished transcript carries that name
  • Runs on-device, no bots or meeting invites

How it works

Record. Recall. Ask.

1

It records, always

Lives in your menu bar with no Dock icon, quietly buffering mic + system audio for the last two hours.

2

You recall a moment

Scrub the timeline to any window and transcribe it on-device. Audio + transcript are saved as a capture.

3

Your AI reads it

Claude, Cursor, and Codex query your captures through MCP — search, summarize, and reason over what was said.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Yes. It captures system audio from any app plus your mic, so any call — browser or native — is in the buffer.
Yes. Everything is recorded, stored, and transcribed on your Mac. Its only automatic network call is a one-time on-device model download; after that it works fully offline. (The lone exception is a bug report — sent only if you choose to.)
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Claude Desktop. One command wires Tonal Recall into your client so it can read your transcripts locally — read-only.
macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later on Apple Silicon, for fast on-device transcription.
It buffers continuously but is lightweight — under ~5% CPU at idle — and prunes anything older than two hours automatically.
